TPACK

The idea of TPACK is really cool. From watching the videos  I can see that students learn much more if they can use technology with whatever they are learning. After this class I just want to go do cool and fun stuff with technology and apply it with everything! It is very important for students to learn how to use technology because they are so interested in it and will use it for the rest of their lives! Technology really is amazing!

When we were exploring with temperature it was really fun trying to make letters and cause the temperature to go where we wanted it to go. I think students would really have fun doing this!

RSS and Web 2.0

So this experience of using RSS and Web 2.0 has been interesting. It took a long time to figure out what to do and how to do it, but I finally got it! I really liked learning how to use the RSS feed and I think it is so applicable to when we are teachers. We can have instant lesson plans, news, and such at our fingertips. I think that that is so awesome! I would love to use RSS feed as a teacher!

My Technology Experience

I didn't really grow up with too much technology. I didn't get a computer until I was in high school. Even then, it was a crummy old computer! My kind aunt gave it to me, but it wasn't the best. I eventually got another computer from my other kind aunt which was much better. But I still didn't have the internet until I came to College and got a laptop from my kind uncle! I learned so much more then when I could figure out stuff for my self. I am great figuring out stuff with technology though! I love video games and movies  and am great with that stuff! I'm experienced with my IPod and after working 2 1/2 years with computers for work! Technology is great! Isn't it?!
